The Health Hub is an exclusive, semi-private personal training studio based in Khandallah Village, Wellington. We offer a functional and comfortable space for everyone, from young teens through to our older population.
The Health Hub Studio is proud to collaborate with medical centres by providing a wellness referral initiative. We work together to design fitness plans to support mutual clients with pre diabetes, body confidence, mental health, cardiovascular risk and post chemotherapy fatigue.
We also support our clients further through the services of an onsite nutritionist and yoga classes.
Unlike other gyms, we do not offer memberships or group fitness classes during personal training sessions. It is important for us to create an environment where our clients can train in confidence and without the distraction of others.

Fitness is a huge part of my life and I chose to become a personal trainer to help share the benefits and knowledge that I have discovered come with regular exercise.
For me exercise is an escape. I use it as a form of meditation and to help shut off from my usual fast pace life. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
As a trainer, the most satisfying thing is hearing feedback from my clients about how their energy levels have increased, how their relationships with friends and family have improved, how they finally feel like they are doing something for themselves and how they have achieved something they never thought was possible.
At the beginning of 2017 I turned my vision of training clients in an environment they felt comfortable in, into reality. I took a risk by opening my own private personal training studio in the heart of Wellington CBD, and with growth comes change.

I personally enjoy a mix of training styles including running, functional strength, circuit training and pilates.

I am proud to provide a wellness service for my clients and in collaboration with medical professionals, to focus primarily on health transformations through functional movements, strength conditioning and empowering greatness.
This is supported by a first-hand understanding in the struggles we can face in our health, fitness, nutrition and in the mindset that underlies them all.
I have had a health transformation myself. Two years ago, I weighed 35kg heavier. I was unhealthy, unhappy, lacking confidence, energy and not a very fun mum!
I was pre-diabetic and on daily medication. I had high blood pressure and was on daily medication. I had high cholesterol and consequently required emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder. Other contributing factors caused me to reflect on my poor health status and I chose to change my thinking and it has changed my life (read more via link below).
I became a personal trainer and health coach with the purpose of helping others in similiar situations to work with them to gain their life back.
My preferred styles of training are functional strength, isolation, plyometrics and interval sessions.
I know how hard it can be to shift your mindset and to move your body when you really don't want to, but I can promise you it's worth it. Invest in your health and you will reap the benefits in all areas of your life.
